New Polyviscose Tartans - DUE IN - end of July
These New Polyviscose Tartans include some eye catching, contemporary weaves!
Tartan is a riveting, visual expression of both history and geography.
Originating in the highlands of Scotland, Tartan or breacan (meaning chequered in Gaelic) is a patterned cloth consisting of crisscrossing, horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours. Tartans began as woven wool, but now they are made in many other materials, including Polyviscose.
Polyviscose is a mixture of polyester and viscose making it a durable and versatile fabric. It has a similar feeling to wool, but can be produced for much lower costs. It is often used in country wear and kilts.
